The North-South Institute at 30 years old!

Last November, The North-South Institute held a  reception in Ottawa to commemorate its 30th anniversary.  The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was current Chair of the NSI Board, George Davies. Guest speakers included founders, former staff and current board members: Gerry Helleiner, a NSI founder, Officer of the Order of Canada and U of T Professor Emeritus of Economics; the Rt. Hon. Paul Martin; the Hon. Barbara McDougall; Ted Menzies, MP for MacLeod and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Cooperation; Clyde Sanger, former Director of Communications; and Roy Culpeper,  NSI President; along with other NSI colleagues and supporters.
