Kwesi Aning

attended the University of Ghana , Legon and subsequently earned a Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has taught at several universities in Denmark , Austria , the United Kingdom , Nigeria , Sierra Leone and Ghana where he was attached to the Legon Centre for International Affairs (LECIA). Dr Aning serves on and reviews articles for several international journals and has published extensively in scholarly journals and contributed several book chapters. His most recent   publications have appeared in Asian and African Studies; Encyclopedia of African History; Review of African Political Economy; Conflict, Security and
Development; and African Security Review. Dr Aning presently works with the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia where he occupies the position of Expert, Common African Defense and Security Policy (CADSP) and Counter-terrorism.
