Research for a fairer world

The North-South Institute’s research examines the role of the public and private sectors, and of the voluntary sector or “civil society,” in Canada’s various relationships with developing countries. The NSI’s research program concentrates on five key areas: Finance for equitable growth; Peacebuilding and conflict prevention; Trade and natural resources; Employment and migration; and, Governance, reform and effective development.
