An International Expert Consultation on Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime, Global Developments, and New Strategies

Presented by The North-South Institute, the Interagency Coalition on AIDS and Development and the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network

The North-South Institute, the Interagency Coalition on AIDS and Development and the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, are holding a conference on access to medicines in developing countries. As part of the Access to Medicines and Intellectual Property: An International Expert Consultation on Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime, Global Developments, and New Strategies, the conference will gather health advocates from around the globe, including India, Thailand, Canada, as well as members from Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.  The three-day forum will focus on recommendations and strategies on how to minimize the struggle of millions of citizens in developing countries trying to access life-saving medication.
