Book on elections in dangerous places launched in Washington
NSI and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace hosted the launch of NSI’s latest publication: Elections in Dangerous Places: Democracy and the Paradoxes of Peacebuilding, edited by David Gillies. The launch, which took place at the Carnegie Endowment’s Washington headquarters, included a panel discussion by Susanne Mueller, Benjamin Reilly and Francesc Vendrell, who all contributed to the book. The discussions were moderated by Thomas Carothers, of the Carnegie Endowment. NSI President Joseph Ingram also made a presentation to UN agency on Right to Development.
