Joseph K. Ingram

Joseph K. Ingram Joseph K. Ingram became the President and CEO of The North-South Institute in August 2010. Previously, after retiring from the World Bank in 2006, Mr. Ingram served as a Senior Advisor to the World Trade Organization and as a consultant to both the UN High Commission on Human Rights, the World Bank and the Canadian International Development Agency. During his 30-year career with the World Bank, Mr. Ingram held senior positions including Special Representative to the UN and to the WTO in Geneva, Director of the World Bank’s office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deputy Director of The World Bank Institute, Director of the Bank’s office in Cameroon and Deputy Resident Representative in the Bank’s Nigeria office. Before joining the Bank Mr. Ingram represented the International Development Research Center in Beirut. Mr. Ingram holds a Master’s degree in political economy and studied at McMaster University in Canada and the Harvard Business School. Jingram@nsi-ins.ca
