Jennifer Salahub
 | Jennifer Salahub leads the Institute’s research on Fragile and Conflict- Affected States. She is interested in the nexus of security and development including democratic security sector reform (SSR), state fragility and the gender dimensions of conflict. Since joining NSI she has conducted research on SSR in Burundi, Haiti, Liberia and South Sudan. Her recent publications include the edited volume African Women on the Thin Blue Line: Gender-Sensitive Police Reform in Liberia and Southern Sudan and co-author of “Just Add Gender? Challenges to Meaningful Integration of Gender in SSR Policy and Practice.” Ms. Salahub holds an MA in Political Science (International Relations) from McGill University. Jsalahub@nsi-ins.ca |
