Rodney Schmidt
 | An expert in international economic development, Rodney Schmidt worked in nine countries before joining NSI. His recent research on new ways to finance global poverty reduction received international attention, leading to consultations with the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, and U.S. and British lawmakers. Prior to joining NSI, Mr. Schmidt was East Asia representative for Canada’s International Development Research Centre and International Finance Officer for the Ministry of Finance. His research addresses international and macroeconomic aspects of development. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Toronto. Rschmidt@nsi-ins.ca |
