The United States Dodd-Frank Act (2010) is an ambitious legislative reform to enhance transparency and accountability in the U.S. financial system. Section 1504 of the Act introduces mandatory disclosure requirements for extractive companies.
This Policy Brief, an output of the NSI’s Transnational Governance of Natural Resources (TGNR) project, examines the implications of Dodd-Frank 1504 for the governance of Africa’s extractive sector.
